|This was one of the first Peter Greenaway
movies that I've seen, and I have to say that it's still my favourite. The playfulness with colors,
angles, long cuts... and not to forget the absurd characters and their reckless actions.|
One could almost say that this is one of the more realistic movies ever made, cause nothing makes sense in regards to what/how the people act (as in real-life).
The music in the movie is enchanting, and sometimes it feels like it must have taken a decade to make (maybe it did?).
Without mention of it, the movie gives hints about the seven deadly sins all through it. I wonder if that was ever thought about in the script.
