Hong Kong Skyline (2006)

Visiting Hong Kong and Makau was my first trip to Asia purely as tourist, exploring the fast pace asian city is one of those adventures which I will never forget.
Ordinary rush-hour life on subway with "pushers" to handle the crowd, kung-fu fights at a restaurant (quite appropriate since this is the home-town of Bruce Lee), a city that truly never-ever sleeps, is so loud that the crickets have to raise their voice to find a mate.

Seeing the life with a inside guide, my friend Kitty was truly enjoyable and I believe that this is the way to explore the world, to know someone there, that actually does live there to show you the sights, tell you about what's hiding around the corner, and to get to know about the things that the tourist misses.

I can remember how Kitty told me about that there was a election for a new local government, and the biggest issue/topic that one of the parties had was that there should be more female public toilets, that was their major agenda... , quite a serious (kidding) agenda, don't you say?
To visit the temple's and to get a little insight of all those things that are there, the bells, the insence, the fortune-telling, ah, and yes the Hong Kong vodoo...
