They had just opened a drive-in
cinema in a nearby city, and Basic Instinct became the first movie I saw
"outdoors".
Since drive-in was then very new for us it became some
kind show where everybody with extreme/expensive cars came to show them off.
Well back to the movie, I enjoyed it. Sharon Stone played
the female strong "bad-guy" so good that you actually believed that she's like
that private too (and you start to think like that even more after that all
other movies with her where she is supposed to play "the nice babe" have failed,
partly because of bad scripts and partly because of her acting capabilities).
Sometimes you feel like Michael Douglas in real life too
when you are dealing with some women, they seem to be on another level in life,
and you yourself are almost blindfolded by them (but I'm quite sure that there
are men that are just like that too). |
