I bought the Laserdisc with no knowledge whatsoever
about the movie, and I have to say that it was a great buy, cause it's one of those kind of
movies where there is no really evil people, it's a kind of cozy atmosphere over it.
I guess people (including me-self) identifies with Johnny Depp, he takes
care about everything for everybody basically, and one gets the image of that if he didn't
exist, the world would go under. He never complains, and still never gets any "thank you"'s from
his surroundings. That I guess is how a lots of people feels too about themselves.
One keeps wondering if there really exists families and small towns as the
one in the movie... |
