Holy smoke is quite an odd movie,
one doesn't know if you should love it, or hate it. I guess I do like it, mostly
because of the fascinating dialog between Harvey Keitel and Kate Winslet.
The movie is centered around humanity, and how easy one can
be humilitied by words. The brainwashing that is viewed is something that I believe
happens all over the world in relationships, one of the parts tries to control the
other. It's so very hard to keep a dialog even.
The movie very much shows how powerful a woman can be if she
really wants to, how "easy" it is to affect the male-psyche. I do believe that there
is a lots of women out there that is using their femality just the same way against
men as it is pictured in the movie. |
